INTENDED USE
7.1
Preparation for use
Before the operation user shall:
observe visually and make sure that system units have relevant arrangement
and reliable fastening in compliance with section 4;
make sure that all cable connections are performed in compliance with section
5 and Appendix A;
check safety of performed mounting: all cables shall have reliable fastening and
isolation; cable shielding shall not have damage which may lead to electrical shock;
mounting cables and cable glands shall have reliable fastening; devices with metal
casings shall be grounded properly.
7.2
Starting procedure
To switch the System on, supply power to the System and SC, press “Power”
button on the CU. After 30 seconds (System initialization time) the System is ready for
operation.
7.3
Basic System services
Depending on the UTs the System provides the following basic communication
services, see Table 6.
