7.5.5
Internal user notification (voice call)
Each user is allowed or prohibited to hold announcements.
Permission or prohibition for the System users, user assignment to particular zone
and time of announcement are specified at order on Customer request.
To provide internal announcement of one user, voice call may be used, i.e., call
signal type is changed (ringing call to voice call). It means that speaker and microphone
are switched on at called user terminal instead of ringing call.
To change call signal type (ringing - voice) of internal call:
1.
Dial UT number with pre-defined ringing call type*.
2.
After long tones press [#].
3.
Microphone and speaker are switched on at called UT.
Note* – called user must have UT with built-in microphone and speaker.
7.5.6
Announcement via external system (Command public address)
The System includes one zone for external announcement.
Connect an amplifier and loudspeaker to CU J8 connector to use this function.
Every user receives a permission or prohibition to ensure announcement. The
permission or prohibition for the System users, user assignment to particular internal zone
and announcement time are arranged at order on Customer demand. They are set by the
manufacturer while programming the System.
To provide external announcement:
1.
Pick up a receiver.
2.
Dial code of external announcement «545».
3.
Wait for warning signal.
4.
Start announcement.
5.
Put the receiver down as soon as announcement is finished.
Note
The function is available for all UTs which are permitted to ensure
announcement.
7.5.7
Facsimile communication
The System allows for facsimile communication; UTs may be used in fax mode,
telephone mode and in both modes at the same time.
