Use
The MSA
AUER
SAR 30 L
is a closed-circuit
breathing apparatus independent of the ambient air
for operating times of maximum 30 minutes. The
SAR 30 L
must only be used once. After use, the
apparatus can be refurbished (see para. 7 of this in-
struction manual). The air tightly closed and lead
sealed apparatus is kept in readiness on vehicles or
on site. A wall mounted holder is available as acces-
sory. The SAR L can also be carried by the user with
the shoulder strap fitted to the container.
SAR 30 L
protects the user against hazardous gases
and vapours of all kinds including oxygen deficiency.
SAR 30 L
is not made for use under water. Brief,
unintended immersion into water during use does
not affect the function. The
SAR 30 L
is designed for
light work under respiratory protection, e.g. for in-
spections. Also at higher workloads the apparatus
delivers sufficient oxygen to cover the users needs
immediately.
WARNING!
SAR 30 L
is not designed for fire fighting and jobs
involving the risk of flame contact and/or flying
sparks. The breathing bag however is protected
against mechanical and thermal exposure assuring
that brief spark or flame contact does not affect the
SAR 30 L function.
Note:
The surface
temperature permits using
the apparatus in areas with temperature
classification T1 to T4 (according to DIN
EN 50 014).
