b)
Avoid contact between the body and grounded parts, surfaces or objects, such
as pipes or fences. Avoid contact between the body and conductive parts
accessible through the metal scissor blade. Contact with grounded objects or
surfaces may increase the risk of electric shock.
c)
Do not expose the device to rain or wet conditions. Water entering the device
increases the risk of electric shock.
d)
Do not abuse the cable cord. Never use the power cord to carry, pull, or unplug
the device. Do not expose the power cord to high temperatures, petroleum
products, sharp edges, or moving parts of the device. A damaged or entangled
cord increase the risk of electric shock.
e)
When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for
outdoor use. Using an extension cord for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric
shock.
f)
When you cannot avoid using the device in high humidity conditions, use only
electrical installations that are protected by residual current devices. The use of
residual current devices (RCDs) in electrical installations reduces the risk of
electric shock.
3)
Personal safety
a)
Stay alert, work carefully, sensibly and deliberately. Do not use a power tool
while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. Keep
all body parts away from cutting blades. Do not remove manually and do not
hold the cut material when the power tool is switched on. Make sure that the
switches are in the "off" position before removing the jammed material.
A moment of inattention while using the power tool can lead to serious injury.
b)
Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective
equipment such as dust masks, non-skid safety shoes, helmets or hearing
protectors used under appropriate conditions reduce the risk of injury to the
user.
c)
Prevent unplanned start-ups of the power tool. Ensure the switch is in the off-
position before connecting to power source, picking up or carrying the tool.
d)
Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or energising power tools
that have the switch on invites accidents.
e)
Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the power tool on. A wrench
or a key left attached to a rotating part of the power tool may result in personal
injury.
f)
Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables
better control of the power tool in unexpected situations.
