11. TROUBLESHOOTING
In case of any problems with the device, please refer to the following tips.
The device does not switch on.
Both switches should be turned on until the device is
in operation.
Check that the cable of the device or extension cord is
not damaged.
Check that the plug of the cable and the extension cord
are properly connected to the sockets.
Check that there is a power supply with the correct
parameters in the mains socket.
If the machine overheats, e.g. due to excessive work or
blockage of the blade, the machine can spontaneously
switch off. Wait at least 15 minutes and try to turn it
on again with all the precautions.
The device vibrates differently than
usual.
Immediately unplug the device and unplug the power
cord from the wall outlet. Check that there is no
blockage in the cutterbar teeth. Check that the
cutterbar board elements are properly fixed -
remember to wear protective gloves.
The device makes a different sound
than usual.

The device works louder than
usual.
If noise comes from around the cutting edge or the

You can see sparks in the engine
area
During the initial period of use, sparking may occur
around the engine. This is normal and should cease
when the engine runs-in.
Cutting blade becomes hot.
Check that there is no contamination between the
moving parts of the cutting bar.
Lubricate the cutting bar with machine oil.
Have the cutterbar components sharpened by an
authorised workshop.
