Setting Up Single-Host 3-15

To upgrade firmware of a NPort Server:

Stop all ports action (applications) related to this
server.

Select Upgrade from Server menu.

Select the filename of the firmware that you
downloaded.

Wait till the message shows upgrade completion. The server will be restarted
automatically.

Note: This Upgrade method is done to the selected server only. If there are new

software - NPort Manager being released. It is recommended that you
uninstall the old NPort Manager on your NT then install the new one.

Uninstalling the Software

If your Windows NT no more access to the NPort Servers, you may uninstall the
driver and software.

Go to Start

Program

NPort Server from the desktop.

Select Uninstall NPort Server

Restart the NT system as requested.
