When the data file you want to delete is stored in the Phonebook, Screen, or i-shot mail, a confirmation display
comes up. Select “YES” and press ; then the data file is deleted. The data file is also deleted from the
storage location. Select “NO” and press ; then data files other than those stored in the Phonebook, Screen, or
i-shot mail are deleted.

When there are many or bulky data files to be deleted, it may take longer to complete deleting.
P
When you try to delete protected data files, a confirmation display appears. Select “YES” and press to delete
them. Select “NO” and press ; then data files other than protected ones are deleted.

In Normal Mode, data files stored as secret are not deleted even if you execute “Delete all”.
To delete data files stored as secret, switch to Secret Mode first.

You cannot select “DEL from fldr” while you are selecting a “ (Animeditor)” folder within the “Animeditor” folder.

You cannot delete an Animeditor image only. Select “Delete folder” to delete the “ (Animeditor)” folder with them.

When the folder you want to delete is specified as a storage location, a confirmation display comes up. Select “YES”
and press ; then the folder is deleted and the storage location returns to the default.
You can delete data files and new folders except for fixed data files and fixed folders.
The following are the deleting methods:

For executing “Delete one”,
select/play back a data file.
For executing “DEL some data” or “Delete all”,
bring up a data List.
For executing “Delete folder” or “DEL from fldr”,
select a folder.

Repeat this operation to select multiple items.

Deleting Data Files or Folders
Deleting method Description
Delete one Deletes a selected single data file.
DEL some data Deletes multiple data files at a time.
Delete all Deletes all data files in the folder.
Delete folder Deletes a newly-created folder along with any data files inside it.
DEL from fldr Deletes all data files and new folders within the selected folder.
