Compare the voltage on the machine‘s type label
with the voltage of the power supply network. Co-
nnect the machine only to the correct voltage using
a properly installed socket in accordance with the
applicable regulations.
•
Use only a cable with a sufficient cross-section.
•
The machine connection must be performed through
an overcurrent circuit breaker with a release current
of 30 mA.
Protection:
400 V 3~ > 16 A slow
Switching On/Off
Before any use of the machine, first always check
the switching system functionality (switching it on
and off).
Do not use the machine if the switch cannot be
switched on/off. Defective switches must only be
repaired or replaced by an authorised service centre.
Switching On
Switch the machine on
using the green button.

Make sure the motor is running in the correct
direction (see the arrow on the motor), otherwise,
the oil pump will be damaged.
f
Switch on the motor. The splitting wedge will travel up
to the top position.
f
If the splitting wedge already is in the top position:
Grab both operating handles and push them down,
the splitting wedge will travel down.
f
If the splitting wedge does not move once the motor
has been started, switch off the motor and change the
direction of its rotation.
To change the direction of rota-
tion, insert and slightly press a
screwdriver into the correspon-
ding slot in the socket flange
and turn it to the left or right.
The correct direction of rotation
will thus be set.
Hydraulics
•

•
Split logs make the work area dangerous. Danger of
tripping, slipping or falling. Keep the work area tidy.
•
Never place your hands in areas close to the moving
parts of the machine. Keep a safe distance from the
log, movable table and splitting wedge.
•
Never split logs longer than the max. allowed length
of 1300 mm.
Before starting log splitting, always check the co-
lumn for proper lubrication to ensure its free retrac-
tion and extension.
