To place a PTT call from the home screen

Enter the phone
number you want to
call as you would
when making a phone
call.

Press and hold the
PTT button on the left
side of your EWP.

Begin talking after
your EWP emits a chirping sound.

Release the PTT button to listen.
To place a PTT call from your contacts list:

From the Home screen, press the right soft key to
open the Contacts screen.

Press the navigation key
S
to scroll to a contact
name.
Note:
a contact name may have several listed
phone numbers - select the PTT number

Press and hold the PTT button on the left side of
your EWP.

Begin talking after your EWP emits a chirping
sound.

Release the PTT button to listen.
Note:
Your PTT call automatically ends if not
responded to within six seconds.

When you receive a PTT call, your EWP emits
a ring sound or vibrates.
