the other part of the network and filters packets it does not need to forward. The system is

How does the Canopy 150/300 Mbps Backhaul
provide security for data traffic?
The
Canopy 150/300 Mbps Backhaul has a range of security features. At installation time each
link must be programmed with the serial ID of its partner. The two ends of the link will only
communicate with one another, eliminating any chance of "man in the middle" attacks. Over
the air security is achieved through a proprietary scrambling mechanism that cannot be
disabled, spoofed or snooped by commercial tools.
Can I use Apple Macintosh OS X to control and monitor my Canopy 150/300 Mbps
Backhaul?
Yes, but there are some restrictions. Mozilla 1.6 or higher is recommended.
There are some issues with Internet Explorer 5.2(IE) and Safari, which could mislead the
user.
How will my investment be protected as new features are developed?
Future
enhancements can be downloaded to the unit, meaning advances in technology or changes
in regulations can quickly be applied to the system without any further hardware investment.
