To change the SIM card PIN code, the PIN Requirements must be set to 

ON

 and you 

must enter the old PIN code before you can proceed. 

When you keyed in the wrong PIN code, the screen will show 

Invalid PIN code, 2 more tries

. 

If you keyed in the wrong PIN again, the screen will prompt 

Invalid PIN code, 1 last try

. If the 

PIN number is entered incorrectly 3 times in a row, your SIM card will automatically lock-up and 
the Blocked message will be displayed.
If your SIM card is lock-up, and you receive the Blocked message, you will need to enter a PIN 
Unblock (PUK) code and key sequence before you can use the phone. You will need to contact 
your service provider (SingTel Mobile, M1, etc.) for the PUK code to unlock the SIM card.

If the PUK code is entered incorrectly 10 times in a row, your SIM card will 
become permanently blocked.
