A Travel Charger will be able to charge a battery fitted in a phone (as well as providing power to
the phone directly. To charge a battery using the travel charger:

Make sure that the phone is fitted with a battery;

Connect the charger to the charger socket of the phone;
3
Insert the charger plug into a suitable mains power socket.

Important! Please make sure that the local mains (?) voltage at your location matches
that of your charger.

When it starts to charge, you will hear an alert beep and the screen will show
"Charging". Charging can take place when the phone is on or off. When the phone is
on, charging does not affect the normal operation of the phone. The top right corner of
the screen will display

, indicating that the battery is charging.

When charging is completed, the screen will show " Charging Complete". Disconnect
the phone from the power mains socket connection. When you turn on the phone, the
top right hand corner of the screen shows
, indicating that the charging is
completed.
Switching The Phone On
Due to the superior functions of the Motorola
A6188
, it possesses many different options to turn
on the phone:
Under normal situations (in the case of a new phone or without changing the default phone
settings), please refer to the phone mode.
When you require the diary, memo pad or calculator etc, please refer to the PDA mode.
After setting the PIN, handset number lock and other selections, please refer to the phone mode
for the complete process of turning on the phone.
Invalid battery:
this display will be accompanied by a warning beep.
This is to warn you that the battery cannot be re-
charged (though the battery can provide power to the
phone). This may indicate that the battery is not
Motorola Original Accessory Battery. It is suggested that
you use only Motorola Original Batteries and other
accessories as Motorola will not be held responsible for
any damage to the phone, financial loss or bodily
injuries arising from the use of non-Motorola original
other batteries and accessories.
