Time Format
At the Initial Setup display, you can select either the 24 hours or 12 hours selection box to set up
the time format.
Date Settings
: you can use the date settings to set the date.
Select Date at the Initial Setup screen, the date setting dialogue box will appear, prompting you
to set the date. (See Date Settings under Calendar).
Date Format
At the Initial Setup display, press the Date Format selection box to select the date format.
yyyy-mm-dd (Year-Month–Day)
mm-dd-yyyy (Month-Day-ar)
dd-mm-yyyy (Day-Month-ear)
Language Selection
: used to change the language for display messages. When you select a
language, all further display prompts and help messages will be in the selected language.
At the Initial Setup display, press the
Language Selection
box and select a language option
from the single selection box. Selection options include:
English
Simplified Chinese
Traditional Chinese
Automatic
(Chinese input)
Simplified
Traditional
Press
OK
to confirm your choice and the chosen language will be displayed. Press
Cancel
to
abort changing the language currently being used.
Place (Current Location)
At the Initial Setup screen, press the Current Location selection box and a dialogue box will
appear, prompting you to select a city.
Personalization
At the Initial Setup screen, press personalization to go to the NewPerson / Edit:Owner display to
search and edit various information about the phone owner. See Search / Edit Contacts
Information under the Address Book.

icon at the main menu to display the phone owner’s properties.
Startup Greetings
: the greeting that will be shown when you turn on the phone.
At the Initial Setup display, press Startup Greetings and enter the required greeting at the key-in
area. Press OK to confirm the greeting that you have just entered and the greeting will be shown
every time you just turn on the phone.
Master Reset
!
This option should be used with caution.
This option is used to restore certain phone options to their original settings.
Select
Master Reset
at the Initial Setup display. The screen will prompt you to enter the security
code. If the correct security code is entered, the dialogue box will show "
Reset Settings to
Factory?
" Press
OK
to return to default settings and press
Cancel
to abort operation.
Master Clear
!
This option should be used with extreme caution.
Besides performing the same operations as Master Reset, the Master Clear will also clear the
