The process of turning on a phone is completed.
If the phone is pre-set with "Manual Network Selection", the screen will prompt you to select the
communication services. You can either:
Press
Cancel
to select the PDA mode.
Press
OK
to select a network from the available networks:
Press
Cancel
to select the PDA mode.
Selection a certain network (e.g. Network 1) and starts to register with that network. When the
registration is completed, the screen will return to the main menu and the entire process of
turning on the phone is completed.

Depending on the different settings, you may not need to go through the entire
process to turn on the phone.
Selecting the Handset Operation Mode
After turning on the phone, the top left hand corner of the screen will show the
icon
(Phone mode) or
icon (PDA mode), prompting you to select the operation mode:
Select
Phone Mode ON
and press
OK
to confirm your selection to go to the Phone Mode.
Select
Phone Mode OFF
and press
OK
to confirm your selection to go to the PDA Mode.
Select
Cancel
to dismiss the dialogue box and the current phone operation mode remains
unchanged.
Turning OFF the phone
When the phone is ON, flip open the flip then press and hold the
button for about 1 second
before releasing.
