Grease Replenishment for R-axis Speed Reducer

1. Remove the hexagon socket head plug PT1/8 from the exhaust port.
2. Remove the hexagon socket head cap screw M6 from the grease inlet and install the
grease zerk A-MT6 x 1. (The grease zerk is delivered with the manipulator.)
3. Inject the grease into the grease inlet using a grease gun. (Refer to "Fig. 25 R-axis
4. Remove the grease zerk A-MT6 x 1 from the grease inlet and reinstall the screw M6.
Apply Three Bond 1206C to the thread part of the screw, and tighten the screw with a
tightening torque of 6 N

m (0.6 kgf
N
m).
5. Reinstall the plug 1/8 on the exhaust port. Apply Three Bond 1206C to the thread part
of the plug, and tighten the plug with a tightening torque of 4.9 N
N
m (0.5 kgf
N
m).
Grease type: Harmonic grease 4B No.2
Amount of grease: 12 cc
(24 cc for the first supply)
The exhaust port is used only for air flow; the grease is not exhausted from the exhaust
port. Do not inject excessive grease into the grease inlet.
