39 FUSE TERMINAL BOARD
8 fuses are fitted on the terminal board.
Before replacing a fuse or the fuses, it is necessary to
eliminate the failure which caused melting.
The eight fuses are listed below:
FUSE “1”: ECU ........................................................ 5 A
FUSE “2”: Injector coil pump ................................. 10 A
FUSE “3”: Battery recharging ................................ 30 A
FUSE “4”: Key switch ............................................ 15 A
FUSE “5”: High beam, low beam, horn, start, stop 15 A
FUSE “6”: Dipped lights .......................................... 5 A
FUSE “7”: Direction indicators ................................. 5 A
FUSE “8”:
Spare fuse ............................................ 15 A
Replacement:
• Remove the saddle as described in chapter 4
sect. E
• Remove the protection cover;
• Replace the damaged fuses.

USES
Do not repair damaged fuses.
Use only fuses with the specified amperage.
Using fuses with the incorrect amperage may
damage the electrical system and may cause
fires.
CAUTION
When a fuse is frequently damaged, a short
circuit or overload could be present.
• In case an electric item is not working or
malfunctioning, or in case engine does not start, check
fuses.
To check fuses, proceed as follows:
• Turn ignition switch “A” to “OFF” to prevent any
accidental short circuit.
• Remove the rider’s seat, see subsection 4, section
“E”.
• Take out one fuse at a time and check that the inner
conductor “B” is not broken.
• Before changing a blown fuse, trace and remove the
cause of the fault.
• If damaged, change the fuse with another fuse of the
same amperage.
