27 SYSTEM COMPONENTS
The system is composed of three circuits:
A fuel circuit
B intake air circuit
C electrical circuit
28 FUEL CIRCUIT
The fuel is injected into each cylinder’s intake duct,
upstream of the intake valve.
It includes: a tank, a pump, a filter, a pressure adjuster,
electro-injectors.
The electric pump “1” sucks in fuel from the tank “3” and
delivers it to the electro-injectors “2” by means of a filter.
The fuel pressure in the circuit is kept stable by the
pressure adjustor. This controls the amount of fuel flowing
back into the tank.
