Ogni veicolo è contraddistinto da un numero di
identificazione impresso sulla pipa del telaio e sul
basamento motore.
Il numero impresso sulla pipa del telaio è riportato sul
libretto di circolazione e serve agli effetti di legge per
l’identificazione del motociclo stesso.
FRAME AND ENGINE NUMBERS

The frame number is stamped on the downtube; this
number is entered in the motorcycle’s log-book and is
thus used to identify the vehicke for legal purposes. The
engine number is stamped on the crankcase.
