8. ASSEMBLING
8.1 Assembling of the medical chair
• Open the packing box of the bed and check that the content corresponds to the model you
you requested and that the parts have not been damaged during transport. If not, contact
your dealer immediately.
• Install the roll holder (ref.6 in fig. 1, 2, 3) on the back of the backrest, in the 4 holes provided
(2 on each side) using the screws supplied. (Note: for some models the roll holder is already
pre-installed).
• For PM100 and PM120 models: install the padded armrests (ref.7 in fig. 1 and 2) with the
provided handwheel on the appropriate support bushing (ref.3a in fig.1 and 2).
• For PM100 and PM120 models: install the padded armrests (ref.7 in fig. 1 and 2) with the
provided handwheel on the appropriate support bushing (ref.3a in fig.1 and 2).
• For the PM140 model: insert the armrests (ref.7 in fig.3) in the appropriate support bush
(ref.3a), adjusting the height using already-installed handwheel. (ref.3a) and adjust the
height using theprovided handwheel.
8.2 Assembly of the PMA200 IV pole accessory
The IV pole is supplied complete with bracket and fixing details for application to each model of RUGY
medical chair. We recommend the application in correspondence of one of the two rear housings.
• Remove the screw in one of the 2 rear attachments of the casing to secure it to the frame
• Place the plastic spacer and the steel bracket in correspondence with the attachment of the
casing, aligning all the holes and fixing everything using the screw (with washer) supplied in
the accessory set tightening the screw well.
• Fix the lower part of the IV pole to the steel bracket using the screw (with washer) supplied
in the accessory set.
• Insert the support with 2 plastic hooks in the upper part of the IV pole

8.3 Assembly of the accessory for the PMA210 electric pedal control kit
• Install the fixing bracket of the ‘female’ sockets of the two Y-gears supplied in the kit by
removing one of the screws that fixes the base cover to the frame
• Install the bracket using the screw supplied with the kit, tightening it firmly to the base.
• Install the two ‘female’ sockets of the 2 Y cables supplied in the kit on the top of the special
bracket going to use the special screw provided in the kit. Overrun using the screw supplied,
the two female sockets and the appropriate hole in the bracket and complete tightening with
the nut provided.
• Disconnect the remote control electrical connector
• Connect the ‘female’ cable that goes into the control unit to the ‘male’ connector of one of
the two Y cables installed; then connect the ‘male’ connector of the unused Y cable to one of
the two ‘female’ sockets of the newly connected Y-cable. Then connect the connector of the
