Removing the Control Valve.
Open compartment door and remove the bottom heat shield, secured by two/four screws.
Break the burner feed pipe union at the control valve.
Remove the two bleed pipes from the valve by undoing their unions.
Disconnect the two wires to the valve (noting their positions).
Undo the union coupling from the inlet pipe to the control valve. Remove the two screws from
beneath the fryer securing the valve bracket to the base panel. The valve together with its
bracket can now be withdrawn. Replace by reversing the above procedure.

To Remove or Clean a Burner Injector.
Open compartment door and remove the bottom heat shield, secured by two screws (or four on
the 600 fryer). Break the burner feed pipe union at the control valve.
Remove the two screws fixing the manifold bracket to the tank.
The manifold can now be swung to the side.
The injectors can now be unscrewed from the manifold assembly.
To clean the injector, brush off with a stiff bristle brush any dirt, blow through the orifice to
remove any blockage or restriction -
DO NOT POKE WIRE THROUGH THE INJECTOR ORIFICE
.
Replace by reversing the above procedure.
6) Removing
a
Thermocouple.
Open compartment door and remove the bottom heat shield, secured by two screws (or four on
the 600 fryer). Break the burner feed pipe union at the control valve.
Remove the two screws fixing the manifold bracket to the tank.
The manifold can now be swung to the side. Undo the nut securing the thermocouple to the pilot
bracket and drop the thermocouple down.
Disconnect the wires from the control valve and the override thermostat (noting their position).
Replace by reversing the above procedure.

To Convert NG Appliances to LP
Remove the pilot assembly as described in Section 6 and fit replacement injector 25002500.
Remove the manifold assembly as described in Section 3 to gain access to the injectors. Fit
replacement injectors: -

Remove the Governor plate (secured by two screws) from the control valve and replace with
blanking plate 923569-05.
Finally fit replacement Data Plate and re-test the appliance.
