Maintenance 

 
 

Introduction 

 

The Money Controls World Acceptor Cassette System 2 (WACS-2) provides maximum performance with 
a minimum of service and maintenance. Typical maintenance consists of periodic inspection and cleaning 
of:  

 

- Sensor Surfaces 

 

- Drive Components 

 

- Note Path Components 

 
 

Adjustments 

 

The WACS-2 sensors are self-adjusting and do not require routine electronic calibration.  
 
 

Calibration Card 

  

If the performance of the machine indicates that calibration is required, the user can enter calibrate mode 
through the steps listed above by using the Host Simulator software and a Personal Computer. Use of the 
calibration card will only correct calibration errors in the dual density (Center round) sensor.  The original 
calibration is done at the factory.  The unit should not need to be calibrated again unless the 
microprocessor, top sensor board or bottom sensor board have been changed.  Also, if a part in the dual 
density has been changed, calibration is suggested.
