2 For each transmitter separately
It is recommended to transfer the settings sepa-
rately for each transmitter when the settings for
a single transmitter are to be changed or when
simultaneous synchronization of four transmitters
has failed
1) Press the button SET (12) of the corresponding
receiver section On the display, the field of the
receiver section is highlighted
2) Press the button REMOSET; only the settings
of the receiver section selected are transferred
to the corresponding transmitter
4.6 Separate settings for the
four receiver sections
The menus of the receiver sections (fig 27) can-
not only be used to set the frequency and the
channel, but also to set the output level and
the interference suppression (squelch) In ad-
dition, the corresponding transmitters can be
most conveniently set by means of menu item
7.Mic Config
(fig 30)
To call up the menu for a specific receiver section,
either
– press the button SET (12) for the receiver section

4.6.2 Squelch
The interference suppression will mute the re-
ceiver section in speech pauses when interfering
signals are received and the levels of these sig-
nals are below an adjustable threshold value A
high threshold value, however, will reduce the
transmission range as the receiver will also be
muted when the power of the radio signal from
the transmitter falls below the threshold value
adjusted Therefore, adjust a high threshold value
when the reception is good and a low value when
there is a great distance between the transmitter
and the receiver
1) Call up the setting for interference suppression
via the menu item

the threshold value:
0 = standard setting
1 … +10 the higher the threshold value, the
lower the sensitivity to interference
signals
–1 … –5 the lower the threshold value, the
higher the sensitivity to interference
signals
3) Press the button SETUP to save the setting
