To Set Speed
- Move slide on smart stick to ON position and drive at desired speed above
25 mph. Hold desired speed with your foot while you press and release Set/Coast but-
ton. One second after release, remove your foot from accelerator pedal. You can increase
your speed at any time by pressing on the accelerator pedal. When you release the accel-
erator pedal you will return to set speed.
To Accelerate
- Hold slide switch in Resume/Accel position and your motorhome will
accelerate. When you release switch your motorhome will slow to set speed and again be
controlled there. If you want to set speed at a higher speed, release slide button and
immediately press and release Set/Coast button as motorhome reaches desired speed.
To Coast
- Press and hold Set/Coast button in and allow motorhome to coast. If you
want to set speed at a lower speed, release button as motorhome approaches desired
speed.
To Disengage
- Depress brake pedal and you are in control of motorhome’s speed. You
can also disengage speed control by pushing slide switch to OFF.
To Resume
- When you disengage system with the brake you do not erase set speed from
memory even if you come to a complete stop. To return to your chosen speed drive to a
speed above 25 mph then move slide button to Resume/Accel position and release it.
Speed control will take you back to your original set speed. If rate of acceleration is faster
or slower than you like, use accelerator to obtain a speed close to set speed then slide
button to Resume/Accel position and release it. There is no drain on battery when igni-
tion switch is off, even if cruise is left on.
