Telnet
with
CLI
A
command
‐
line
interface
(CLI),
also
known
as
command
‐
line
user
interface,
console
user
interface,
and
character
user
interface
(CUI),
are
means
of
interacting
with
a
computer
program
where
the
user
(or
client)
issues
commands
to
the
program
in
the
form
of
successive
lines
of
text
(command
lines).
The
interface
is
usually
implemented
with
a
command
line
shell,
which
is
a
program
that
accepts
commands
as
text
input
and
converts
commands
to
appropriate
operating
system
functions.
Programs
with
command
‐
line
interfaces
are
generally
easier
to
automate
via
scripting.
The
device
supports
both
Telnet
and
SSH
CLI
with
default
service
port
2300
and
22,
respectively.
And
it
also
accepts
commands
from
both
LAN
and
WAN
sides
and
makes
corresponding
responses.
In
"Telnet
with
CLI"
page,
there
is
only
one
configuration
window
for
the
"Telnet
with
CLI"
function.
The
window
can
let
you
activate
or
deactivate
the
function
to
be
made
available
for
telnetting
via
LAN
and
WAN
interfaces.
You
can
also
specify
the
connection
type
in
plain
text
telnet
or
secured
text
ssh
or
both
and
their
own
service
ports.
