Logging
feature
is
very
useful
and
also
important
for
Modbus
application
environment,
administrator
can
check
the
status
and
history
during
whole
Data
‐
Acquisition
period.
There
are
some
major
features
about
this
Data
Logging
function
in
the
IoT
Gateway.
Auto
Data
Logging
to
save
all
records
as
files
When
local
Modbus
slave
devices
are
providing
their
data
in
response
to
Modbus
master
device’s
data
acquisition.
The
data
logging
function
can
save
all
communicate
data
into
several
".CSV"
format
files
automatically,
and
user
can
define
how
to
split
and
storage
those
backup
files
by
setting
their
size.
Auto
Data
Logging
in
Proxy
Mode
Under
Data
Logging
Proxy
Mode,
user
can
add
some
pre
‐
defined
rules
via
“Proxy
Mode
Rule
Configuration”
to
do
the
Data
‐
Acquisition
by
IoT
Gateway
itself
automatically,
once
the
network
connection
with
remote
SCADA
was
lost
unexpectedly,
the
Proxy
Mode
will
be
triggered
and
start
to
do
the
data
polling
jobs
by
those
pre
‐
defined
rules
running
in
the
background.
This
Proxy
Mode
also
helps
saving
Network
Bandwidth
when
it
was
enabled.
