Please put some some silicone grease, that came with your
mod-kit, on the elastomere cylinder. This minimizes
abbrasion.
We propose you try out the yellow elastomere cylinder
(medium rigidity).
Now its time to do first testing!
Before closing the pedal-set completely, it is worth it to try
out how the feel suits your preferences.
For a quick test, the pedal plate for the brake pedal can be
re-applied. If you decide that the feel is not rigid enough,
(and your rig allows it), you can switch the elasomer
damper to the green one (strong) or even higher.
The next section gives some hints about different
configurations.
If the chosen elastomere damper suits your needs, the
pedal-set can be reassembled in reverse order of the
opening process.
3.3 Mounting points and different setups
Please note, that the pedal pressure will be substantially
higher than with the original setup – even with the yellow
elastomer damper.
Therefore it depends on your rig and especially the
mounting of the pedals
how much maximum force will
make sense
.
If the racing rig is flexy or weak, you shouldn’t configure
much pedal pressure. If your rig gets deformed during
heavy branking, this is an indicator for overload. Reduce the
