The industrial aluminum profiles are also a very good choice
to reinforce existing rigs or racing seats. The material is
relatively cheap, and can be ordered cut to size.
But also if you don’t want to use the pedals without the
casing: You need to ensure the correct mounting.
Please ensure, that the mount points of the brake pedal
itself (see img 3.3.2) are screwed to your rig. By doing so,
the metal construction of the brake pedal supports best.
The outer mount points near the accelerator and the clutch
pedal can be used additionaly, but if only these points are
fixed, the load on the plastik parts will be too high and so
the material will wear down.
