Be aware that this might have consequenses on a
warranty you probably have for the pedal-set. So
please check your documents before you open the
case.
First step is to remove the pedal plates by unscrewing the
two screws of each of the pedals. The 2.5mm hex wrench
will fit here.

The next step is to remove 14 screws located at the bottom
plate. Twelve of these screws are shown in Img. 3.1.2.
The remaining two screws are a bit hidden under the
carpet-brake snap mechanism.
