2. Important notes
Before you begin to install the L2x-Brake Mod Kit, please
check that your configuration is strong enougth to
withstand the substantially higher braking forces. You may
need to reinforced it, if that is not the case.
For best results we recommend hardmounting the pedals
directly to a rig. Please refer to section 3.4.
Note: We do not assume any liability for damages
caused by too high preasure, applied to the pedal-
set, or wear down due to unstable mounting.
If you
encounter problems during mounting the kit, stop
the work, and ask for assistance.
To replace the original spring and damping element, the
pedal-set needs to be opened.
So please ensure to read the following instructions carefully.
We recommend to read the instructions once in whole,
before you start to open the pedal-set.
3. Opening the pedal-set
You will need the following additional tools:

A Phillips screwdriver No.1.
•
A hex wrench 2.5mm.
3.1 Remove the top of the casing
To access the inner area of the pedal-set, the top of the
casing needs to be removed.
