PROCESS DEFINITIONS AND WELD
FUNCTIONS
250DP States
The 250DP has seven states: RUN, NO WELD, PROGRAM, MENU, HELP, STANDBY and FIRE.
The [MENU], [RUN], and [PROG] keys cause the 250DP to change to the state defined by that key.
RUN State
In this state, the 250DP is ready to make a weld. You can select, but not change, any weld schedule by
using the or keys on the front panel. You can also change weld schedules by keying in the
appropriate schedule number, 000 through 127. [CHNG] will change lines 6 and 7 of the RUN state
screen, as shown below (a through d) to display either:

(a) and (c) graphic below, showing the energy of Pulse 1 for a manual or air head, or
x
(b) the status of the output relays, or
x
(d) the status of the Weld Sentry.
If [NO WELD] has been selected, the legend
