To take a picture
Storing/erasing your picture
When a picture has been taken (see "To take a picture", page 42), the file name and the «Keep
this photo?» message are displayed.
The picture is stored in the Pictures folder of the Fun & Media box menu (see "Pictures", page
57) except if you have previously chosen to have it stored on the miniSD™ Card (please see
"miniSD™ Card", page 69). The picture file is stored as a .jpg file.
Adjusting the preview
You can adjust several setting types before taking a picture. These settings can be accessed
from an items menu on the preview screen by pressing the [Menu]
side key.
To switch to the video application
This item allows you to switch from the camera application to the video application to record a video.
To select the image size

Open the lens cover (see the drawings above).

Choose a subject.

side key to take your picture.
The shutter sound is played and the red light blinks.
1. Please check the macro switch position before launching the recording - the image quality may vary according to
its positioning.
2. You cannot take a picture while a voice communication is in progress.
3. The Shutter sound is a ’Camera-like’ sound that is heard when a picture is captured.
4. You may not be able to deactivate nor mute the shutter sound option on your mobile.
5. Do not forget to close the lens cover after taking a photo otherwise it covers the loud speaker.
