Wall-mounted phone
You can mount the phone on a wall. To do this, the base must be screwed to the wall as a
mounting bracket and the phone must be snapped into the base.
• Arrange the screws for fastening the base and mount the base (Figure A).
• Connect the earpiece cable and the phone connection cable (Figure B). For more
detailed information concerning the connection assignments, refer to the chapter
"Connection".
• Insert the phone horizontally into the base (Figure C-1) and push it downward
(Figure C-2).
• Unscrew the support cam of the earpiece (Figures D-1 to D-3).
• Hang up the earpiece.
Notes:
• Since there is only little space left between the connection sockets on the rear of the
phone and the wall, a ribbon cable with a short socket connector must be used to set
up the LAN connection. Please contact your retailer in order to buy a suitable ribbon
cable.
• If you want the phone to be mounted on the wall, you can connect only one single
M530 extension keypad (option).
