ASI IN –
Connect a DVB-ASI signal conforming to EN 50083-9.

The IRD-3811 provides two identical HD/SD SDI video outputs on BNC connectors. The SDI video signals conform
to the SMPTE 292M and SMPTE 259M-C standards. The output format follows the input format.

– connect an RF input appropriate for the installed tuner:
ATSC if the ATSC tuner is installed

2.4 Installation of the Conditional Access Module (CAM)
The Conditional Access Module (CAM) is installed into the IRD-3811 via the front panel.
Depending on the conditional access system in use, the CAM may be in the form of a proprietary module, or in the
form of a carrier plus a smart card.
Both formats plug into the same receptacle on the IRD-3811.
