Screw the replacement mixer cap
on to the mixer assembly.
6.5.
Fit the retaining clip to the groove
on the thermostatic cartridge to
secure the mixer cap to the
thermostatic cartridge.
6.6.
Re-connect the cover electrical
connector and refit the cover.
Secure the cover by tightening the
three cover retaining screws. Refit
the temperature control knob.

6. Thermostatic Cartridge – Removal and Installation
The following procedure can be applied for replacing the thermostatic mixer cartridge.
Warning!
Before proceeding turn off the electrical and water supplies. The electricity
supply must be turned off at the mains and , if applicable, the appropriate circuit fuse
removed. Mains electrical connections are exposed when the cover is removed.
6.2.
Unscrew the mixer cap and pull to
remove both the mixer cap and
thermostatic cartridge from the
mixer body.
Warning!
Check all the seals are
fitted to the cartridge and grease the
seals with a silicon based lubricant.
6.3.
Fit the replacement thermostatic
cartridge. The cartridge
must be
fitted with the larger lug aligned with
the left hand slot in the mixer body
and the smaller lug aligned with the
right hand slot.
