3. Temperature Override Button – Disable
The Mira Extreme incorporates a temperature override button that allows the user to
override the preset maximum temperature. This override button can be disabled,
limiting the maximum selectable showering temperature to the preset value. This
setting is recommended for the young, the elderly, the infirm, or anyone inexperienced
in the correct operation of the controls.
Follow the instructions below to disable the temperature override button:
3.1.
Turn the temperature control knob clockwise to full cold.
3.2.
Remove the temperature knob using the push-fit release tool.
3.3.
Locate the plastic temperature override lock.
3.4.
Raise the override lock until it clicks into the hold position, allowing the over-
ride button on the temperature control knob to bypass the stop. The
temperature override button is now enabled.
3.5.
To disable the temperature override again, lower the override lock until it clicks
into position.
3.6.
Replace the temperature knob.
