Grab the horizontal stabilizer and perform 45-degree bevel cuts on the elevators’ edges. You
may choose to reinforce the hinges with some hot glue. Scrape off any excess glue.
We will now bind the motion of the split elevators. Bend a 90-degree angle into the end of the
wire so that it sits down in the longer score cut provided on the right elevator.
Complete the “U-bend” to whatever length you see fit, as shown in the pictures above. Perform
a score cut where this torque rod falls on the opposite elevator.
