Gluing the canopy down can be challenging and also stressful due to the aesthetic importance.
Try following these steps:
•
Temporarily peel off one side of the tape, allowing that side of the canopy to pop open.
•
Place glue on former I, the windshield, and the outside edge of the canopy.
•
Hold the canopy down and scrape off excess glue.
•
Re-apply the masking tape on that side, making sure that it stays put.
•
Repeat the same process on the other side.
Once the glue has hardened, remove the tape and trim off any excess posterboard/foamboard
where necessary. As a final step, glue together the two sides of the hatch lock and glue it
underneath the hatch plate.
