Open the front cover and raise the clamp
lever at the front of this machine.

Lift the tension-bars at the front and rear of
the machine, and fix them with the tension-
bar lock plates.

Feed the media through lapel bar 1.

Feed the media from outside the feeding
tension bar to lapel bar 2.

Feed enough of the media under lapel bar

• At this point, remove any wrinkles from the
surface of the media.

Insert the edge of the media between the
grit roller and the pinch roller, and slide it
to the front of the machine.

Lower the clamp lever at the rear of this
machine.
• The media is held.
