Cleaning and Care
This chapter contains important information about the optimal care and cleaning of your
Cookingbox One. Observe this information to avoid damage.
Attention:
Always empty the water after the cooking process and clean the Cookingbox
thoroughly and dry.
Switch off the appliance prior to cleaning and disconnect the plug from the mains.
Cleaning should not be attempted before the appliance has cooled down.
Clean the appliance regularly and remove cooking spills to prevent them from getting
cooked on.
Do not use acidic, aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents.
Ensure that no liquid can get into the appliance openings.
Clean and descale
1.
Pour an mc of water filled to the max. line into the evaporator.
2.
Add some citric acid or white vinegar (approx. 30 ml).
3.
Close the lid tightly using both side latches to avoid splashes.
4.
Heat for about 10 minutes.
5.
Remove the cable and wait until the machine has cooled down before discarding
the water/vinegar mixture.
6.
Wipe the surface with a damp cloth and then use water to clean it until no more
vinegar smell is noticeable.
