Problem

Cause and remedy

The interior drum light-
ing does not come on

The lighting switches off automatically (to save en-
ergy).

Switch the dryer off and then on again.

The lamp needs changing. Change the lamp as
described at the end of this section.

Interruption to the
power supply

No obvious cause.

Once power has been restored, switch the dryer
back on using the 

 button.

Confirm with the 

OK

 button.

The programme does
not start and the display
is dark.

There is no power to the dryer.

Is the dryer switched on?

Is the door closed properly?

Has the fuse or circuit breaker tripped?

The dryer switches off automatically after 15 minutes
if no further selection is made.

Switch the dryer on.

When the power comes back on after a power cut,
confirm with 

OK

 and start the programme again.

The display is dark and
the Start button is flash-
ing slowly.

The display has switched off automatically to save
energy (Standby mode).

The display will light up when one of the buttons is
pressed.

The display is in a dif-
ferent language.

A different language has been selected.

Set the language you want. The flag symbol

The Start button flashes
