Electrical connection
All work on the electrical con-
nection must be carried out by Miele
Customer Service, a Miele-autho-
rized technician or a qualified electri-
cian.
– The electrical installation must be in
compliance with current local and na-
tional safety regulations!
– The plug connection must comply
with national regulations (plug and
socket must be accessible after the
machine has been installed). This
therefore facilitates an electrical
safety test performed during mainte-
nance or service work, for example.
– If the dishwasher is hard-wired to the
power supply, a mains switch capa-
ble of disconnecting the dishwasher
at all poles must be installed. This
mains switch must have a contact
gap of at least 3 mm and also be
lockable in the off-position.
– If necessary, equipotential bonding
must be carried out.
– If replacing the power cable, use only
original Miele replacement parts or a
suitable cable with
core cable ends
.
– For technical data, see the data plate
or the attached wiring diagram!
The dishwasher must only be operated
with the voltage, frequency, and fuse
rating shown on the
data plate
.
This machine
can be converted to a
different type of power supply
in ac-
cordance with the conversion diagram
and wiring diagram supplied.
Converting the machine to a different
type of power supply can lead to
longer program durations, resulting in
increased energy consumption.
The values declared on the label will
only be achieved if the machine re-
mains in the state in which it was de-
livered.
The
data plates
are located at the back
of the dishwasher and along the right
edge of the open door.
The
wiring diagram
is supplied with
the machine.
The
conversion diagram
is attached to
the electrical connection plinth panel.
Grounding connection
The ground lead must be connected to
the screw connection point (marked
with the ground symbol
) at the back
of the machine.
