manufacturer of the ventilation hood
must be maintained between the cook-
top and the ventilation hood above it.

If combustible objects are installed
above the cooktop (e.g., a suspended
rack), a minimum safety distance of
19 3/4" (500 mm) must be maintained.

When two or more appliances which
have different safety distances are
installed together below a ventilation
hood, you should observe the great-
