Message
Possible cause and solution
The
symbol lights up
in the display. You can-
not switch the appli-
ance off.
The
safety lock
has been activated.
Completely deactivate the safety lock (see
“Selecting additional settings”, section “Activating
and deactivating the safety lock”).
The alarm symbol
and the sensor for one
of the sections have lit
up on the display, and
an alarm is sounding.
The door alarm has been activated.
Close the appliance door. The alarm
symbol
will go out and the alarm will stop.
The alarm sym-
bol
and the freezer
section sensor button
are flashing in the dis-
play. An alarm will also
sound.
The temperature alarm has been activated.
The temperature in the freezer section has risen
higher or fallen lower than the set temperature.
Possible reasons for this include:
– The appliance door was opened too frequently.
– A large quantity of fresh food has been placed
in the freezer without switching on the
SuperFrost function.
– A prolonged power failure has occurred.
Rectify the cause of the alarm.
The alarm symbol
goes out and the sensor button
for the freezer section lights up again constantly. The
alarm will stop.
Depending on the temperature displayed, you
should check whether food in the freezer has
started to thaw or has defrosted. If it has, cook it
before freezing it again.
The
symbol flashes
on the display and the
indicator light on the ice
cube maker flashes
when the ice cube
maker is switched on.
The water supply line is not open.
Open the water supply line.
