Possible cause and remedy
The alarm sounds and
the message
Freezer
temperature too high. Max.
temperature °C
appears in
the display.
The temperature in the freezer has risen significantly.
This could be due to, for example:
– the freezer door being opened too often, or
being left open
– a large amount of food being frozen at once
– an interruption to the power supply.
If you find the alarm disruptive, you can switch it
off early by touching the
OK
sensor.
The alarm will stop.
Rectify the cause of the alarm.
The message will disappear from the display and the
alarm will stop.
The temperature display will show the highest
temperature that was reached in the freezer zone.
Depending on the temperature displayed, you
should check whether food in the freezer has
started to thaw or has defrosted. Defrosted food
may only be refrozen after it has been cooked.
In the event of a power cut, check whether there
are any ice cubes in the ice cube container and
dispose of these. Otherwise, the ice cubes will
freeze together and can damage the ice cube
container when they expand.
