Description
If an address cannot be determined, the system requests an address.
Press
Alt + CLEAR
to cancel the operation and return to the
Reload
prompt. Either contact your IT department for assistance or use the
Specify
option.
IP Address, Subnet
Mask, and Gateway
Use to specify a user supplied IP address. Enter the numerical
IP address (include periods) [
nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn
].
Enter the subnet Mask number using the same format as the
IP address.
The Gateway address is used for communicating outside of a local
network. This address is often the same as the instrument’s IP
address with a
1
after the last dot instead of the last three characters
[
nnn.nnn.nnn.1
]. Enter the Gateway address.
