6.0 Configuration
Unit Address
The unit address is, and must be, a unique identifier of each
modem in a network.
The Master has by default, and must retain, a unit address of 1;
65535 is the broadcast address.

RF Output Power
This setting establishes the transmit power level which will be
presented to the antenna connector at the rear of the IP Series.
Unless required, the RF Output Power should be set not for
maximum, but rather for the minimum value required to maintain an
adequate system fade margin.

If the Operation Mode is set
to MASTER, the Unit Address
field will NOT be displayed in

Configuration
menu.
By setting the unit to Master,
its Unit Address will be 1.
FCC regulations allow for

36dBi
effective
isotropic radiated power
(EIRP). The sum (in dBm)
of the transmitted power,
the cabling loss, and the
antenna
gain
cannot
exceed 36dBi.
