The lever which operates the engagement and
disengagement of the blades also activates the operation
for stopping the blades in 5 seconds.
To temporarily compensate this, you can turn the adjusting
nut until you achieve the correct spring length. The correct
spring tension can be determined if you measure the outer
spring length 122mm – 124mm while the blade drive is on.

The power output from the engine to the blades of the
mowing mechanism is transmitted by V-belt and
gear-belt. The power output from engine to the gearbox
on the rear axle is transmitted by two conversion belts
and the chain transmission
NOTE: Replacing belts is a complicated process which
requires dismantling components and subsequent
adjustments. Therefore, this process must only be
carried out by a Licensed Service Centre.

IMPORTANT: Do not adjust the length of the
spring below 27mm otherwise you are
risking overloading the brake unit.
IMPORTANT: Replace the belts as soon
as they show obvious signs of wear and
always use genuine replacement belts.
