Stripping Corners - Lever Tool
Resetting the corner:
Remove the pin to the connecting
plate that is at the bottom of the
corner.
Place the pin to the lever tool in
the plate of the corner (Fig. 23.1).
Push the bar down and away
from the corner to slide the inner
mechanism down, so that it
pushes the corners' side profiles
outward (Fig. 23.2).
Once the inner mechanism is
pushed all the way down, the
corner is reset to the expanded
pouring position.
The wedge can be driven in at the
top of the stripping corner with a
few hammer blows for assistence
in resetting the corner to expanded
position.
Be sure to replace the wedge at
the top of the corner to lock the
corner into position (Fig. 23.3).
