22 Parental control
22.1 Child-safe basic settings
• Press button to open the "Functional overview".
• Select "Menu" with the cursor and press the button.
• Select "Parental control" with the cursor and press the button.
• If desired, use the cursor to select "Start viewing time" and "End viewing time" and press
the button.
• Use the cursor to select "- -:- -", enter a time with the numeric keys, and then save with the
button.
• Select "Code" with the cursor, press the button, and enter your 4-digit personal code
with the numeric keys. Make a note of the code number!
• Use the cursor to select "Activation" and press the button.
• Select "TV set protected" with the cursor and press the button.
22.2 Activate parental control
With the childlock function, you can:
a)
Activate a general TV lock (a1) or unlock it within a specific timeframe (a2).
b) Select (b1) and block (b2) a specific station

: Locking the TV set in general to prevent unauthorised use
• Press button to open the "Functional overview".
• Select "Parental control" with the cursor and press the button.
• Select "TV set protected" and press the button.
• Save the setting with the button.
a2) : If you want to unlock the TV within a specific timeframe, then:
- Select "Start viewing time" and "End viewing time" with the cursor in the settings window
(see 21.1) and set the time using the numeric keys. Incorrectly entered times can be
deleted.
