Battery disposal
Do not dispose of batteries with domestic rubbish! Please return spent batteries to
collecting points should they exist in your country.
Please only return fully discharged batteries. Normally, batteries are fully discharged
if the device they power
• switches itself off and indicates “batteries spent”
• they no longer function flawlessly after prolonged use.
To prevent short circuits, please cover the battery poles with adhesive tape strips.
These symbols can be found on batteries containing harmful substances:
Pb = the battery contains lead
Cd = the battery contains cadmium
Hg = the battery contains mercury
Li = the battery contains lithium
